Avoid drinking Tea/Coffee
Excess consumption of tea and coffee can turn lips black as well as yellowing your teeth. So, limit your caffeine intake, in order to avoid your lips from darkening color.

Sun can increase melanin so avoid sun contact. Exposure to the sun also causes color darkening. So avoid sun exposure
