Kadi patta or curry leaf hair masks and benefitsTake fresh leaves ¼ cup or if you are taking dried leaves make their powder. Get ¼ cup of almond oil and ¼ cup of mustard oil and add powder of one fourth cup of dried kari Patta or fresh Curry leaves in oil. Cook it on low flam for 15 minutes. Make sure oil should not be turned black. Now cool down the warm oil. Strain the oil and store in a glass or plastic bottle. Use it minimum thrice a week to get rid of the hair loss. Massage the scalp and hair and leave it overnight. Wash the hair in the morning with mild shampoo. Warm up the oil before every use so oil may absorbed into the scalp deeply and easily.

Add Curry leaves in coconut oil and cook it on low flam for 20 to 25 minutes. Make sure oil should not be turned black. Now cool down the oil. Strain this oil and preserve it in a glass jar. You can use it daily or minimum thrice a week to get rid of the hair loss. This oil will not only help you to cure hair fall but also faster the hair growth. You can use this oil every night and take shower in the morning.

Recipe of Cardamom drink or Homemade Sharbat Elaichi recipe

Sharbat e Elaichi or Cardamom Drink is very beneficial in summer season. with lemon juice it gives very unique taste and flavor while green color attracts eyes. 

Ingredients

Cardamom (elaichi/Ilachi  pod ): 50gram                               
Sugar: ¾ kg
Green Food Color: a pinch
Water: ½ kg
Lemon: ½ kg

Recipe:

Make cardamom (elaichi/Ilachi) powder. Cook cardamom powder in water until water remain half. Now add lemon juice in that and strain the water with strainer or cloth. Add sugar in the water and cook again. Cook the water and sugar on slow heat and stir frequently. When water started thicken, preserve the mixture in glass bottle or jar. You can enjoy cardamom drink by adding 2 tbsp of syrup in one glass water. Mix sugar and ice as your taste.

Have you ever eaten preserved rose petals which are also called gulkand in Hindi (India) and Urdu. Gulkand is also available in market but homemade gulkand is considered more beneficial because it is made of fresh and clean rose petals without any chemical input. Gukand has lots of benefits with no side effects if used properly. Here I am sharing a simple recipe of making gulkand at home in few days.

Ingredients:

Rose Petals (Red)                                         250 Gram
Sugar or Misri (candy Sugar)                        250 Gram
Cotton Cloth        
Air tight Jar

Recipe /Method:

Take fresh rose petals wash with water so the dirt removed. Dry these petals with cotton cloth and put a layer in jar then a layer of sugar again a layer of rose petals and a layer of sugar cover with led.
Put this jar under the sun daily from 10:00 am to  4:00 pm while putting in sunlight closed jar with cotton cloth only and in night tightly closed with led.
It will take 3 to 4 weeks in preparation of rose preserve the tasty Gulkand. Enjoy this cooling tonic in all summer season and avoid many health issues e.g. inflammation, redness in eyes ,itching, pitta, hyper acidity, constipation, piles, skin-itching,  nose bleed, muscle pain, dark eye circles, fatigue, acne and skin blemishes.



Note: use wooden spoon for stirring the mixture

Take one tbsp of Charoli powder and mix it with a tsp of sandalwood powder add few drops of rose water for making paste Apply this paste on your face  for 20-30 minutes. After the mask dry out, Wipe off with moist cloth or cotton. This mask offer cooling effect to your skin.
